The Premier League weekend began with a bang as usual, with some un and expected results. The most intriguing was Wigan's appauling display against newcomers the Tangerines, or Blackpool. 4-0 did not flatter the visitors, and it could and should have been more. Surprisingly, Premier League flop Marlon Harewood looks set to be a good bit of business. Chelsea have to be admired for their Stamford Bridge scoring rate. Another 6, but a few set piece howlers and sloppy defending by West Brom really could have made a difference. Newcastle had a tough test, a too tougher test as it turned out as United cost to victory with a Superb Scholes performance for Man United as they ran out 3-0 winners. Liverpool and Arsenal, expected goals, but was left with two. Encoraging signs for Liverpool, but a long road ahead. Good start, but plenty still to come.
